Founder

Dan is the founder of Mojo Depo…a natural food, beverage and supplement consulting organization dedicated to spreading the goodness of natural health.

Dan’s educational background includes a Business Management degree from the University of Northern Colorado and a graduate program in Food Industry Management at the University of Southern California. 

Working his way through college in the grocery business, Dan began his 38 year career at King Soopers in Denver, Colorado.  He held multiple store management positions and ultimately moved into category management at King Soopers headquarters.   After managing most categories throughout the grocery department, he found his passion when he took the reins of Natural Foods, Beverages, Water, and Supplements from 1995-2017.  He was instrumental in growing the natural foods category throughout Colorado and worked closely with Kroger to help other divisions throughout the country.  Ground breaking accomplishments include being the first to launch integrated natural food sections, establishing in-store standalone Wellness Centers that carry thousands of natural supplements not found in traditional grocery stores and along with Dr. James Rouse,  launching a long term television and magazine program supporting natural products at King Soopers.  While at King Soopers, Dan was also instrumental in launching and building brands such as Amy’s, Fiji water, Izze beverage, Noosa, Horizon, White Wave, Clif bar, Lara bar, Boulder chips, Justin’s nut butters and many more.
