Dr. Terry Mah is an innovative performance-oriented leader and manager with 20+ years of international experience and a passion for water who is committed to the ideas and actions embodied by the phrase - “changing matters”.  Dr. Mah has a proven track record of technology development & commercialization, business development and transformation, profitable growth, and value creation across a diverse and challenging background of highly specialized activities and geographies.

Terry is the Co-Founder of Thales Water Advisors, Founder of The Malabar Group, and Co-Founder of TerraFin Partners whose activities are focused on innovation and strategies that bring positive impact.  Terry also serves as an Advisor or Board member to several tech companies, innovation accelerators, investment capital firms and water "not-for-profit" organizations.  Prior to this, Terry spent 19 years with Veolia where he held numerous executive positions, including serving as a member of Veolia’s Management Committee, Chief Executive Officer of Veolia North America, and Chief Operating Officer of Veolia’s Global Water Technologies group where he managed and grew businesses ranging in size from $500,000 to >$2 billion in revenue.

Dr. Mah studied at the University of British Columbia where he earned a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Microbiology, and received his Ph.D. in environmental engineering.
