John Martin is a seasoned and successful sales executive. He was the first salesperson hired and subsequently the top-performing account executive at OpenTable. After being promoted, John led, created, and built the sales engine that was responsible for transforming OpenTable from a scrappy start-up into a thriving $2+ billion public company. John left OpenTable in 2011 to pursue an entrepreneurial career. Over the past nine years, he has worked in an advisory capacity for 20 early-stage companies helping them implement and scale their sales and customer-facing organizations.
John is an avid cyclist, climber and backcountry enthusiast. He practices mindfulness and yoga daily. He loves to food and cooking. He graduated light years ago from the University of Miami with an MBA.
