Nick Sramek is the Director of International Relations at Silicon Valley Forum in San Francisco. Nick focuses on building and cultivating high-value, sustainable partnerships with international organizations looking to strengthen their ties to the Silicon Valley ecosystem. He oversees SVFs startup programs that mentor global entrepreneurs on fundraising, storytelling and product development. Previously, Nick has worked with international institutions, investors, and non-profit organizations to improve their long-term thinking and to assist organizations in preparing for a world not yet visible. Nick has focused expertise in understanding and communicating global macroeconomic and geopolitical trends, as well as the importance of the economies of the Asia-Pacific region. Through research fellowships, he has also developed a passion for understanding the role of technology in society, particularly in developing economies. He served as Program and Knowledge Director for the Pacific Pension & Investment Institute, an educational organization based out of San Francisco that assists pension funds and financial institutions in carrying out their responsibilities. Nick received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and History from Trinity University (Texas), and a Master’s degree in International Affairs from the University of California, San Diego’s school of Global Policy and Strategy.
